Coffee, Tolkien and cake.
The three items above have fuelled many a late night of writing and editing. Writing is something that I have always enjoyed, and I remain forever indebted to those family members and friends who have endured my scattered tales of far-flung places and characters.
Much of my life has been spent typing away at a keyboard, from my studies in politics and theology, to my current work writing talks as part of my ministry. However, the hope of penning works of fantasy has always lingered, and despite my best efforts I have been unable to confine them to the dog-eared corner of a notebook, or the ink-stained folds of a discarded envelope.
